We’ll be walking and praying on the trails soon!

The Winter 2014 edition of The Royal Cross is now out! In it, you will find important DOK news, inspiring articles such as National President Pam Runyon’s experience of hearing Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby speak, and information on how the Self-Denial Fund supports and provides grants for Daughter’s mission projects. Feeling inspired? Let’s brainstorm some ideas at our next meeting!

At our most recent DOK meeting last night, the Kyrie Eleison Daughters at St. Mary’s agreed that we will begin “Walking and Praying in the Light” as a part of our 2015 Triennial preparation. More information about this can also be found in this issue of The Royal Cross, and I hope that you are all as excited as I am that we will soon be holding meetings outside and in the beauty of the surrounding Cumberland Gap National Historical Park! We officially begin this as a group on April 1, 2014, but I encourage anyone who wants to begin tracking their miles walked now to do so. I will be updating our numbers each Wednesday!
